Summer is winding down, yet we still have traveling on our minds! Last week I posted crafty ways to turn vacation memories into art. My posting coincided with the return of my world-traveling friends, the McMiniens, who spent the last twelve months trekking the planet and immersing themselves into cultures far beyond our work cubicles.
Francis Minien, a British born photographer, had the brilliant idea to narrate his journey across the world through a visual diary. The diary, entitled "1 Day 1 Photograph", features a photo from each day of their adventure that, as Francis states, "captures what I feel best conveys the day or the experience of the day".
His photography journal offers us a daily snapshot of the people, nature, and landscapes that shape the world around us. You can find it here: Part 1 and Part 2.
Below is a selection of photographs from the journal. They can be purchased by contacting Francis through hiswebsite.
